I absolutely LOVE the John Lewis Christmas Ads. They’re just fabulous – and a real tradition that I love. You can see the past ones below. But they just announced 2016 and I love it !
I really love #BusterTheBoxer. For two reasons:
- It’s amazingly emotive again. I’ve been that Dad putting that bloody device together. We’ve all been the kid running for the toy. This AD touches parts of my emotions like nothing has for twelve months.
- This year John Lewis tried to be happy. It tried to show us something as innocent and gleeful as an animal on a trampoline, in a bid to remind us that there’s still some good left in the world.
- And like all great communications – it’s wonderfully simple and beautifully exaggerated.
