Situation update: it seems at is some green shoots are emerging. We’ve been testing and although we an access rate in the last 30 mins of 100%, it is little unstable. We’ve been kicked out of the application a few times.
Our testing indicates that your choice of ISP is fundamental to your success. It seems Vodafone for example is OK so anybody using a Vodafone mobile phone for internet will probably get a better response than going through a Telstra ISP [my home]. We are AAPT at the office and I’m getting variable results here. I’ve tried on Optus with good result too. This indicates to me that perhaps we are almost at the end of this saga – and that as the DNS changes rollout around the globe then all will be okay very soon.
RMS’s Guidance: so long as you expect the unexpected today – go ahead and try logging back in. If you can get in – then don’t expect the connection to last forever, so make your time count! We feel there’s going to be a lot of frustration/slowness so dont keep trying too hard if you’re experiencing probs.
