Ever wanted to add a chart to your page layout? Now users can get valuable information directly on the pages they visit most often with Salesforce Embedded Analytics. This is a huge benefit as it provides context to the conversation.
Until now, users have had to navigate to the Reports Tab to find reports – or click on a link. This gives users valuable information directly on the pages they visit most often – directly on the page they’re using, and in context. This gives a huge benefit in that it provides context to the conversation.
To do it, just embed report charts in detail pages for standard or custom objects. When users see charts on pages, they are empowered to make decisions based on data they see in the context of the page without going elsewhere to look for it.
Salesforce embedded analytics examples?
A salesman gets to see his Rolling Quarterly Performance chart on the OPPORTUNITY record. A Marketing Manager gets the attendance for the latest seminar in her CAMPAIGNs list-view page. And at end of quarter everyone gets to see the company performance on all their pages – and their own departments’ rolling expenses report chart too…
Users will be happy that they can now see the information where they need it, in context, rather than having to visit the Reports tab
