Typos in blog posts


I was asked today by a client if its best to have a perfect blog post IN A FEW HOURS or if one with spellign misteaks is better NOW.

Guess what eye told him …

I recall a story from years ago of a high profile IT CEO [could have been Larry Ellison – not sure] who once said he’d prefer to get immediate communication that told him a problem NOW – rather than wait for the perfect prose version of the same story LATER.

However, I do think there are certain standards which we should at least attempt to maintain – and continual mistakes in blogs demonstrate poor levels of English — which in turn reflects on your organisation …. but still I think in todays market, speed [mainly] trumps eloquence.
